จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยร่วมกับธนาคารกสิกรไทย เปิดตัว CU NEX Application แอปพลิเคชั่นที่จะเชื่อมโยงทุกมิติการใช้ชีวิตของนิสิต อาจารย์ และบุคลากรในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัย พร้อมขับเคลื่อนจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยให้ก้าวขึ้นเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำด้านดิจิทัลไลฟ์สไตล์แห่งทศวรรษใหม่ด้วยการนำนวัตกรรมดิจิทัลมาใช้ยกระดับการเรียนการสอน การพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ ตลอดจนการใช้ชีวิตในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อสร้างสรรค์การใช้ชีวิตอย่างมีคุณภาพของนิสิตในยุคดิจิทัล ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. บัณฑิต เอื้ออาภรณ์ อธิการบดีจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เปิดเผยว่าในฐานะมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำของประเทศที่มุ่งสร้างสรรค์บุคลากรรุ่นใหม่ที่เป็นพลังสำคัญของการพัฒนาประเทศ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยเล็งเห็นความสำคัญของการพัฒนามหาวิทยาลัยให้เท่าทันกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของโลกอยู่เสมอจึงเฟ้นหาพันธมิตรที่เป็นผู้นำด้านดิจิทัลเทคโนโลยีที่ดีที่สุดในประเทศไทยเพื่อสนับสนุนจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยในการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่ ‘Chula New Era’ หรือ ‘จุฬายุคใหม่’ ยุคแห่งดิจิทัลเทคโนโลยีอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ โดยการสนับสนุนด้านเทคโนโลยีจากธนาคารกสิกรไทยในการสร้างสรรค์ ‘CU NEX Application’ ที่จะเชื่อมโยงการใช้ชีวิตของนิสิตเข้ากับดิจิทัลเทคโนโลยี เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกและผลักดันให้นิสิตใช้ชีวิตในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัยได้อย่างเต็มประสิทธิภาพจะช่วยพลิกโฉมจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยสู่เป้าหมายการเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำด้านดิจิทัลไลฟ์สไตล์แห่งแรกในประเทศไทย ด้านนางสาวขัตติยา อินทรวิชัย กรรมการผู้จัดการ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย กล่าวว่าในโลกยุคดิจิทัลที่ธุรกิจธนาคารเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว ธนาคารกสิกรไทยเห็นความสำคัญของการสร้างสรรค์บริการและนวัตกรรมแห่งอนาคต และมุ่งสู่การให้บริการมากกว่าความเป็นธนาคาร (Beyond Banking) เพื่อตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของลูกค้าอย่างเต็มประสิทธิภาพ โดยได้นำความเชี่ยวชาญด้านดิจิทัลเทคโนโลยี นวัตกรรม โซลูชั่นส์ และข้อมูลผู้บริโภคเชิงลึก (data driven insights) มาพัฒนาต่อยอดเพื่อผสานเป็นทุกส่วนของชีวิต หรือ ‘Life Platform of Choices’ ของลูกค้า ในโอกาสนี้ทางธนาคารกสิกรไทยรู้สึกยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการสนับสนุนจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย พันธมิตรที่มีวิสัยทัศน์สอดคล้องกันเป็นอย่างดี ให้ก้าวสู่ยุคดิจิทัลอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ ภายใต้ความร่วมมือทางด้านดิจิทัลอย่างเป็นทางการนี้ ธนาคารกสิกรไทยจะสนับสนุนจุฬาลงกรณ์ด้วยเทคโนโลยีที่ดีที่สุดเพื่อร่วมสร้างโซลูชั่นส์เพื่อพัฒนาการบริหารจัดการ การส่งเสริมความรู้ด้านดิจิทัลที่ช่วยพัฒนาศักยภาพนิสิตและบุคลากร รวมถึงการสร้างสรรค์สภาพแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนการสอนและการใช้ชีวิตในยุคดิจิทัลได้อย่างเต็มศักยภาพ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. บัณฑิต เอื้ออาภรณ์ กล่าวเสริมว่า ภายใต้โครงการเพื่อขับเคลื่อนจุฬาลงกรณ์สู่ยุคใหม่ของการศึกษาที่มีเทคโนโลยีเป็นตัวเชื่อม จุฬาลงกรณ์มุ่งเน้นในการพัฒนา 3 ด้านหลัก ได้แก่ (1) เชื่อมโยงทุกมิติการใช้ชีวิตของนิสิต (2) พัฒนาศักยภาพนิสิตและบุคลากรให้พร้อมเข้าสู่โลกดิจิทัล และ (3) เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการใช้ประโยชน์ด้านข้อมูล โดย CU NEX Application จะเข้ามามีบทบาทในทุกมิติการใช้ชีวิตของนิสิต เพื่อสนับสนุนให้นิสิตได้พัฒนาศักยภาพอย่างเต็มที่และรอบด้านด้วยดิจิทัลเทคโนโลยี ความเชื่อมโยงทุกมิติการใช้ชีวิตของนิสิต เริ่มตั้งแต่ก่อนออกเดินทางไปยังมหาวิทยาลัย นิสิตสามารถตรวจสอบตารางเรียนและห้องเรียน หรือค้นหา e-book ที่สนใจจากศูนย์หนังสือจุฬาฯ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนเข้าห้องเรียน เมื่อเดินทางถึงมหาวิทยาลัยแล้วยังสามารถตรวจสอบตาราง สถานะ และตำแหน่งของรถประจำทางภายในมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อการวางแผนเดินทางไปยังจุดต่างๆ ภายในและรอบๆ มหาวิทยาลัยได้อย่างสะดวกสบายและรวดเร็วยิ่งขึ้น สามารถค้นหาหนังสือจากทุกห้องสมุดในมหาวิทยาลัยได้อย่างรวดเร็ว หรือทำงานกลุ่มที่ PLEARN Space พื้นที่การเรียนรู้ยุคดิจิทัลที่จะเปิดโลกทัศน์ให้กับนิสิต หลังเลิกเรียน นิสิตยังสามารถใช้ชีวิตอย่างเต็มที่ ด้วยการจองการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมภายในมหาวิทยาลัยที่สนใจ หรือจองสถานที่สำหรับการทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ ตลอดจนใช้ชีวิตได้อย่างปลอดภัยภายในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัยด้วยระบบ SOS ในแอปพลิเคชั่น ในอนาคต CU NEX Application ยังมีแผนในการใช้ดิจิทัลเทคโนโลยีในการพัฒนาแพลตฟอร์มอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการใช้ประโยชน์ของข้อมูลในด้านต่างๆ ได้แก่ การสร้าง Data Hub ที่ใช้เทคโนโลยี Machine Learning รวบรวมพฤติกรรมของนิสิต และใช้ Business Intelligence (BI) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเพื่อนำไปพัฒนาหลักสูตรและกิจกรรมเพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพนิสิตให้เต็มประสิทธิภาพ พร้อมทั้งการจัดการงานเอกสารสำคัญต่างๆ ของมหาวิทยาลัยด้วยเทคโนโลยี Blockchain ทั้งหมดนี้เป็นการใช้ดิจิทัลเทคโนโลยีอย่างเต็มประสิทธิภาพ ตอบโจทย์ การเรียนรู้ของคนรุ่นใหม่ในยุคดิจิทัล เพื่อให้นิสิตใช้ชีวิตในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัยได้อย่างเต็มที่ และผลักดันจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยสู่เป้าหมายการเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำด้านดิจิทัลไลฟ์สไตล์แห่งแรกในประเทศไทย +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Chulalongkorn University launches CU NEX Application: Cutting-edge technology from Kasikorn Bank set to push university forward into the future of digital technology Chulalongkorn University, together with Kasikorn Bank, has launched CU NEX, a mobile application that brings together all aspects of life on the campus in one place for students, professors and university staff while also continuing the university’s drive to become the leading academic institution in embracing the digital campus lifestyle. Digital innovations are being applied to optimize teaching and learning processes, develop a more established body of knowledge, and enhance the on-campus experience to achieve better quality life for students in the digital age. Every aspect of a student’s life will be digitally connected even before they begin their trip to the university. They can check their class schedules and classrooms or discover e-books they are interested in from the CU Book Center to prepare before class. Upon arrival at the university, they can even check the bus schedule, status and location on campus to effortlessly plan their route to different areas of the campus and nearby locations. They can also search for books from all libraries on campus very quickly or work on group projects at PLEARN Space, the digital learning playground that will widen their horizons. After class, students can enjoy their campus life by booking any activities they are interested in, reserving space for their own activities, and living a safe and carefree lifestyle on campus with the in-app SOS function. “In the future, the CU NEX application will continue to integrate further digital technologies that allow it to more efficiently utilize data in various aspects. This includes building a Data Hub that uses Machine Learning to study students’ behavior before applying Business Intelligence (BI) to analyze the information for the development of curriculum and activities that further build upon the students’ potential. Meanwhile, important university documents will be managed using blockchain technology in a move that represents full utilization of digital innovations. These are all examples of how we are taking full advantage of digital technology to best support the learning culture of the digital generation.
