จากสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 (โควิด-19) ที่เกิดขึ้นทั่วโลก ส่งผลกระทบต่อทุกภาคส่วนของอุตสาหกรรมและธุรกิจ ไม่เว้นแม้แต่อุตสาหกรรมอาหาร ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในปัจจัยหลักที่จำเป็นต่อการดำเนินชีวิต

ด้วยเหตุนี้ สภาอุตสาหกรรม สมาคมผู้ผลิตอาหารสำเร็จรูป และ อินฟอร์มา มาร์เก็ตส์ ผู้จัดงานโพรแพ็ค เอเชีย (ProPak Asia) จึงได้ร่วมมือกันจัดเสวนาออนไลน์ (Webinar) ขึ้น ในหัวข้อ "อุตสาหกรรมอาหารของไทยในช่วงวิกฤต COVID-19" ในวันพฤหัสบดี ที่ 28 เมษายน 2563 เวลา 15:00-16:00 น. (รอบภาษาไทย) และ เวลา 16:00-17:00 น. (รอบภาษาอังกฤษ) โดยเป็นการเสวนาฯ ฟรี ไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย ทั้งนี้เพื่อเป็นการให้ความรู้และช่วยเหลือผู้ประกอบการในอุตสาหกรรมอาหารและเครื่องดื่มในการลดผลกระทบ ลดความเสี่ยง พร้อมนำเสนอถึงแนวทางการดำเนินธุรกิจฝ่าวิกฤตในขณะนี้ รวมถึงเปิดมุมมองความคิดในการสร้างโอกาส การต่อยอด และการเติบโตทางธุรกิจภายหลังวิกฤตโควิด-19

โดยการเสวนาฯ ในครั้งนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจากนายวิศิษฐ์ ลิ้มลือชา ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอาหาร สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย และนายกสมาคมผู้ผลิตอาหารสำเร็จรูป ผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางด้านอาหารและเครื่องดื่มชั้นนำของประเทศไทย พร้อมด้วยนางสาวรุ้งเพชร ชิตานุวัตร์
