Now, according to the statement, all manners of getting a game secondhand, whether buying a pre-owned game at the store or borrowing a game from a friend, have been cleared. "There will be no limitations to using and sharing games," Mattrick said. "It will work just as it does today on Xbox 360." The daily Internet check-ins became a hot-button issue because people who may not have a steady broadband connection would have been unable to play any of their purchased games, even offline. Though the new console will still require an Internet hook up when first setting up the console, it will not require a connection from there on, Mattrick said. "There is no 24-hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games," he added.
Not every fan request has made the cut, however. Calls for the Xbox One to work without a mandatory Kinect camera plugged in have been left without an answer. After it was reported that the NSA was tapping into Microsoft servers, gamers have been wary about letting an always-connected camera into their living rooms. Digital rights management, or DRM, a system for restricting game ownership, may not apply to disc games, but will still be in effect for digital downloads. Teen Rapper Lil Snupe Killed in North La. Police in north Louisiana are investigating the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old rapper known as Lil Snupe. The Winnfield Police Department says the entertainer, whose real name was Addarren Ross, died Thursday morning after he was shot twice in the chest at an apartment building in the city. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Ross, who lived in Jonesboro, La., recently signed a recording deal with Meek Mill's Dream Chasers label. Police say they are searching for an unidentified "person of interest" but have not established a motive for the shooting.

Police also want to know why a team of house cleaners was hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez's mansion, sources told ABC News. Police say Lloyd was dating the sister of the mother of Hernandez's daughter. Meanwhile, a lawsuit has been refiled in Florida against Hernandez by a man the tight end allegedly shot in South Florida in February. The lawsuit contends Alexander S. Bradley was shot in the arm but the bullet traveled to his head, causing him to lose his right eye. Video footage by a WCVB-TV chopper showed Hernandez traveling by car to Gillette Stadium on Thursday morning. He left the stadium shortly after noon, then was swarmed by reporters after he stopped at a gas station. The Boston Herald reported that Hernandez was told to leave the stadium by staff, who were waiting for him when he showed up for a workout.
Patriots spokesperson Stacey James told the newspaper that she had no idea why Hernandez came to the stadium.
