BROADWATER residents who have been cut off from using a public walkway are begging for it to be reopened. The boardwalk behind the Allisee Apartments in Hollywell has been closed for months because of a dispute between the Gold Coast City Council and the building s body corporate.Residents who frequently used the walkway say they are fed up with the excuses and the inaction -- they just want the situation sorted out. The problem stems back to the body corporate asking the council to take care of maintenance and upkeep of the boardwalk.Council officers soon discovered the walkway was never properly certified when it was built by Stockland developers.A report has also indicated the timber was not of a marine standard. It was a condition of the development approval to provide a boardwalk with public access.Hollywell resident Judy Cameron said the problems had gone on too long. We re just a community who wants our boardwalk back, armop, Ms Cameron said.Area councillor Cameron Caldwell said he hoped the situation would be fixed urgently. I m extremely disappointed that the matter has reached its current state and I m frustrated by the lack of progress in reopening the boardwalk, cyeb, Cr Caldwell said. Continued safe public access is my absolute priority and I will continue to work with council officers in pursing that outcome. Body corporate treasurer Lester Hughes said they were hoping to have the situation sorted but the history did not date back well. It seems to be after all these months no one can even find who did the timber work, scfdw, he said.

Last year, prada outlet, several key drugs, nike free run 3, which many hoped would lead to a cure for the disease, longchamp pas cher, failed to improve the memory of patients in clinical trials. Not only disappointing, air max, the drug failures also call into question the leading hypothesis of the cause of the disease - a build-up of plaque in the brain - and how best to treat it.
